EKOenergy

EKOenergy is an international nonprofit ecolabel established in 2013 by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto ry) in cooperation with other environmental NGOs. It spans the electricity, gas, heating, and cooling sectors of renewable energy and is applicable to all forms of supply, including green tariffs, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and unbundled Energy Attribute Certificates.
EKOenergy is an ecolabel that goes beyond typical responsible initiatives, as all certified sources meet enhanced sustainability criteria and contribute to projects aimed at combating energy poverty.
